LASER RESURFACING CO2

All lasers are a source of energy that produces heat secondarily, and the heat applied gradually and uniformly on the skin has been shown to have results on regenerative properties of elastin and collagen formation.

Thus, this carbon dioxide CO2 laser is used to improve tension when the skin is too flaccid in the facial and neck areas, lines and wrinkles around the mouth, eyelids and forehead. We can also improve stretch marks, scars and spots on the face.

Procedure
Each patient must be valued and treated individually, as the graduation is different depending on the skin type. Depending on if the skin is white, brown or black, the degree of flaccidity and the areas to be corrected with greater intensity.

On some patients, more than one treatment may be necessary. The results are really satisfying entering the second week of recovery.
Duration
1 Hour approximately

Anesthesia
Anesthesia is applied locally in most cases; it can also be combined with superficial sedation.

Need for hospitalization
The procedure is done in an outpatient OR, and the patient goes home that same day.
Recovery
In the first 5 days, special care must be taken to continuously hydrate the skin with the indicated gels. Avoid exposure to the sun for 10 days. Use sunscreen every day for a couple of months.
