LIPOSCULPTURE
In this surgery, we do a conventional liposuction and, with a new closed system, preserve the sterile fat with all its properties, nutrients and stem cells intact. We inject or do lip transference placing this fat in other parts of the body, such as glutes, hips and breasts. It’s also used in some cases of breast reconstruction where we wish to improve the quality of the skin, and in the face to improve wrinkles, as well as deep and superficial lines.
In the last decade, there have been in depth studies on fat, and it’s been proven to have great properties when used in improving the silhouette and giving more volume, like we do when injecting it into the glutes, or in using it as a graft in some parts of our body where it’s diminished with the passing of time, such as the face.
In this case, if laser is used, it will be after the fat is extracted, to improve tissue retraction even further and avoid flaccidity. If we need to use the fat for lipo injection, what we call liposculpting, we use a laser after extracting the fat to avoid burning it, and in this way it doesn’t lose its properties and we can place it in another part of the body where we want more volume.
Areas where it’s used:

- Hips
